I totally agree with what you have said. It is very cluttered yet it doesn't really engage with the audience. I find myself wondering who the target audience really is: parents or students? The autumnal colours do fit with the season but it is, as u say, a bit dull. I look forward to seeing how these findings inform your prelim piece.
